Post-Operative Rehabilitation

Post-surgical Rehabilitation or Post op Physical Therapy, assists a patient recovering from surgery by helping them return to their prior level of physical function, and ultimately their normal lifestyle. ACE Rehab Physical Therapists work closely with you and your physician to develop goals and a customized rehabilitation program to help you regain mobility, strength and fitness. We communicate regularly with your surgeon to ensure your progress is on target with your surgeon’s expectations.

Complementary to the skilled therapy provided by ACE Rehab Physical Therapists, your active participation in your rehabilitation is critical. At your initial visit following surgery, your therapist will work with you to establish individual goals for therapy and discuss any post-surgical precautions. You will also be provided with handouts and exercise bands for a home exercise
program so that you can continue to progress, even while outside of therapy.
